Abstract

Abstract :River is one form of natural ecosystem especially Way Kandis River in Jati Agung sub-district, pH is an abbreviation of pH potential of hydrogen which means the degree of acidity used to express the level of acidity or alkalinity. The degree of acidity (pH) potential of hydrogen is one of the important factors in bacterial growth, this affects the high and low density of bacteria produced. The minimum and maximum pH values ​​for bacterial growth in general are 4-9, but the optimal pH ranges from 6.5-7.5, checking the pH using litmus paper and using a water sample tool used electrolysis (water electroeliezer) with water analysis looking at the color changes of each sample
