Abstract

The rapidly evolving digital transformation in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Society 5.0 requires agribusiness vocational education to adapt to the use of cutting-edge technologies, one of which is Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI technology not only plays a role in modernizing the agribusiness sector but also has great potential to improve the quality of entrepreneurship-based learning. This study aims to explore in depth the use of AI technology in entrepreneurship-based agribusiness vocational education and to understand its contribution to the development of students’ skills. This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and analysis of curriculum documents at three vocational colleges in Indonesia. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis techniques through open, axial, and selective coding processes. The results indicate that AI serves as a facilitator of contextual learning that supports the strengthening of students’ analytical, entrepreneurial, and digital literacy skills. However, the implementation of AI still faces challenges related to infrastructure readiness, faculty competencies, and curriculum integration. This study recommends strengthening institutional policies and enhancing human resource capacity to support the sustainability of AI-based learning in agribusiness vocational education
